Kids 2

When my partner go to met them for the first time,

they played UNO.

They were our neighbours who live in front of the river.

Seniors said they built rapport with the kids using UNO

before we arrived Yushu.

And that is quite powerful by opening t mouth of t quiet kid.
In our next visitation, we brought balloons.

They were so happy.

But they did not tie the balloons.
This is how they play the balloons.

By putting the air out again to create bubble by river sides.

Some will put air and let the balloons fly.

Haha..they are so creative

If for my nieces,

most of them will just tie it up and treat it as ball.
This was the time I dealed with five children at once.

Thanks godness they were not too naughty

He laugh til his waist cant straight...

hahaha...

He was a boy with more mature thoughts compare to others.

I remembered when my seniors have to leave Yushu

He wrote many things

Normally, he acted like adult.

Today, he surprised me.

Making joke, played with smaller kids and laugh

^^...another boy is his young brother.

When he saw his elder brother played like that,

he joined in as well, by making joke.

Later, he got the jumping rope and challenged his elder brother.

He wanted me to judge who is more capable.
This was the girl in pink and she was more active.

See....she was good at posting.

She liked to play jumping rope and run here and there.

Thanks godness she will not disappear.

Then, in order to get attention, she will kept interact others.

I remembered that she kept jumping on my back.

Then, we played by shaking together.

haha...

As for the other girls, they played quietly by drawing and fold other things

As normal, girl like to talk, I have to chit chat with them.

Then sometime I have to turn to boys by challenging them.

Cannot neglect anyone and cannot pay too much attentions on one too.

Ya...happy moments in those day.

However, actually both their parents cant survive in earthquake.

They have their fear, their anger,

their insecure and their hurt self esteem.

When we were going to leave Yushu, we brought them presents.

I gave all of us star bracelet.

They wrote letter and gave drawing for us.

The mature boy asked:"When will we meet again."

I said "When you grow up, you can come to find us"

He said:"When I grow up, you all old d lo."

hahaha~~~

Kids 1

Morning, Yushu....

Guess what the shadow is?

It is not belong to tree but cloud.

How close is the cloud with us?

So cool!!!

We always started our day with breakfast.

After that, we will walk to people's houses to visit them.

We were always divided into teams.

I was always with a strong girl and a doctor. Maybe it's our fate.

I felt my team is prefect. ^^

Doctor will deal with patients and help us build trust.

Then, the leader will noted down all the things

and talked with adults.

As for me, I always dealed with kids,

so I brought along stars, drawing materials and books

I have met a lots of kids in Yushu.

We have played lots of games, which are not so sophisticated.

No computers, no special designed toys here.

We play with water, sands, stones and....

Starting from my neighbors. They are cute. =)

They always fight with each other and then be best friends again.

Sometime, we will get bullied by them together.

However, sometime they will cry when they bullied each other.

The little boy called "gong bao"

We liked to make fun of his name, called him

"gong bao ji ding" ...haha

One day, I saw him looking at the big vehicle.

I called out loud "gong bao"

He smiled and ran to me with an opened arm.

Wahahaha....it's my happiness.

We played sand because all our land here is sands. She said she was building a mountain and then she smashed it and let it become water. All are the things nearby them.

Dun ask me about therapy. I dunno. =)

Then, I picked up some sands and wanted to give to the little girl.

She was so shy but still want to get sands from me. Haha....

One day, we walked hand in hand to buy candy.

Haha....I open the candy for her.

Our roads here were never flat and full of unevenness.

However, she walked steadily.

She was just such a little little girl. ^^

They were my neighbors across the river.

This was my first met with them.

They were so high and so curious about star.

I taught them about the way to fold stars.

This let us have chances to talk with each others.

Then, we also have eye contacts, touch and interactions. =)

This is my play therapy beside river. Haha...if people want to call it therapy.

Playing with a group of five children.

I really want to be with them and play.

I dun want to try method.

I just want to be one of them and follow their flow.

They taught me their language, their foul words.

They shared their toys and their way to play.

It is just so amazing.

However, they still have to listen to me.

Still need to have some boundaries.

Need to know the time to stop and also help to clean the stuffs.

Learned from Dr. A and remember in deep.

Really have to say.

Dun look at the body size of the children.

It can bluff people and make us neglect them.

Although they looked big, they are just kids.

Have to treat them as kids and play like kids as well.

First dinner + others

This is my first dinner in China.

This is ao tea. Tasted salty and let us felt hot after drinking it.
This is bloody mutton satay. Half cooked only.
Mian Pian. Tasted salty. A bit sour. Not hot at all.
This is my favourate. The flour was roasted in a special way.
This is my herb. Have to take it before going up to help me cope with altitude stress.

This is the cup noodle in China. Oops!! not noodle but fen si. Tasted hot and sour. Very nice. ^^I bought back 6 and gave 2 to the guards.

This is my dinner with friends at Yushu. Looked Romantic? haha~~

First impression

When my partner has started to work,

I chose to adjust my breathe to be t same w dis new environment.

I walked around to observe

and trying to have brief understanding about their life style.

I want to be one of them but not someone from outside.

I adjust my tempo, my thoughts and my everything..

I close my eyes to feel my environment.

Listen to the sounds, felt the sunshine, felt the wind

I tell myself "so, here's Yushu"

They built their houses up the plateau instead of plain.

They like mountain.

I found the river and few kids were playing around.

I think the people here are very familiar with the river.

I also saw an adult trying to find sth in the river,

maybe it is sth that can be sold.

They like river as well.

This is not a dog but is a mastiff. It can win the lion and can bite people which means it can be quite fierce and danger. However, mastiff is every where around here. >.<.

The people here like mastiffs very much ya.

Full of houses that cannot let people stay.

This is a temple that cannot let people go in as well.

It is xiao bai ta.

Ei...found sth interesting. Is it sth to receive TV channel?

Got a motorbike?

These were my first impressive toward Yushu.

Taking bus

Finally, time to go to my real destination.

I still have to take bus for 20 plus hours.

Need to buy sth to eat because it was really a long journey.

This is the supermarket in China.

Flowerish my eyes.

So many choices and all are what dont have in my hometown.

However, i dun dare to buy anything.

Not sure about the process of dealing with foods.

I just wanted to get sth simple.

This was the bus that can let me sleep.

Thank godness i got bring sleeping bag

as i dun dare to use the blanket...

On my way up, the people never stopped on singing and smoking.
I loved their song, but i dislike the smell.
Along the way up, there was no toilet at all,
I have to find a place to pee.
haha...it was indeed a special experience.
I admire myself for being able to sleep no matter where I am,
hoho....so I still had a good rest.

There were beautiful scenarios along the way up.

Many mountains, many flowers, many green lands.

*Heart melted*

Although the sun was strong and burning, i never closed the curtain.

I was waiting for the sunset.

Wondering how will it looked like..

Starting from 5pm, I kept waiting.

Although i felt tired d, i still dun want to close my eyes.

Wait until 8pm, the sun was still so strong.

Wa~~this is sth that will never happen in home.

Until 9.30pm, finally I get to enjoy sunset.

The black part are the long mountain....Finally, I reached my destination.

The middle bed was mine and

I will be using for the following weeks.

I felt a bit headache because of the altitude stress,

so I decide to rest on my bed.

I was not rushing to do anything or

felt I must do sth now.

This was not me.

Another flight

Finally, I took another flight to my destination.

I was so tired or

this flight was too comfortable...

I slept from the start til the end.

I heard my partner said this flight provide blanket and foods

for FREE....but of coz the flight fee is higher.

Such a pity, didnt enjoy any services....

A meat shop. So special.

Later, we saw a girl and a guy came to fetch us.

Teacher said she is a very capable person.

She took us to the hotel.

Xi Ning airport at night. Looked nice.

When I walked out from the airport,

I felt the cool breeze

Wondering why is it cool?

Just like Genting...

Just wake up and wanna go for breakfast.

That's my little bag.

Convenience for me to take to anywhere.

She is a university student and having holiday now.

So, she volunteer herself to help.

He is a psychologist and married already.

He came here alone for the sake of work.

He said his wife is more superior and this is his choice.

It is because he grow up under such environment.

He said he like girl that is more challenging and

that's y he choose his wife...

Then, he kept saying sth about me.

About the way I dress, I walk, I talk....

Err..hmm...wondering why...

After I came back from Yushu, we met again.

He disclose that it is because

I looked like the first girl he like.

My goosebumps grew all around.

Err.., just ... >.<.

Outside airport

Even a little kid, he is good looking.

Really like northern people.

First flight

Since I aware about my own thought,

this was my first time taking flight.

*I was excited*

There's nothing much to think about my destination,

just solve problem one by one.

Taking along with all i can and prepare to face the challenges.

Since no matter how much I can imagine,

it will never near to reality, i decided to rest my mind

and be whoever I am.

This was the mood I bring along with me to China.

This was the bag I took along with me.

Inside there, there was another small bag

for me to put all my importance things.

Waiting for the gate to open for us to go in.

This is the first airport I arrived in China.

*So happy*

Can see so big Chinese character on the board.

Then, almost all the officials looked so good and not fat.

Their eyes looked bright as well.

I like the people here, the northern people here.

Then, they really looked tall.

I felt so little there.

However, things not always went on smoothly.

My partner cant find his bag, means lost everything

besides the importance documents and money.

We were so worry and guessed that the other has taken wrong bag. We prayed that the person will return the bag before we took another flight.

O.o There were so many lost bag in the room.

Why did people willing to leave it behind at the airport?

Anyway, we read while waiting.

The corner turned in the end, we get back the bag.

Indeed, a family has taken my partner's bag wrongly.

Thanks godness, nothing bad happen immediately we reach China

It is just a small ripple of the water. =)

Back

Because of you, i decided to let it come back.

You let me realize what makes people choose to relive

but not dying.

Because it is needed.

Because it is worthy.

Even one only, also have to insist.
